Impact Stories

ChaplaincyPlus encourages me to know that God has placed me where I am. This can be something I forget when work becomes overwhelming, ChaplaincyPlus events remind me of the true purpose of work.

I appreciate the wisdom shared in DrawBreath conversations, and the fact that “the space” is actually there, not just in the name but in the cadence and rhythms of conversation. They are conversations that encourage deep breathing in a world that is rushed and does not allow time for breathing. The DrawBreath listener creates a safe space for me to be myself and engage with the rhythms of life in confidence and with purpose.

I’m really appreciative of the work of ChaplaincyPlus and being able to talk to someone about working life from a Christian perspective because this isn’t always something that you can get through church

I am visually impaired and both of the churches I attend have a lot of older people therefore I don’t really know many Christians around my age group locally. I find the [Network Group] useful as it allows me to connect with people around my age. Also, everyone is very helpful and accommodating to me when I do want to attend an event.
