Key Details

CityWomen exists to gather Christian women working across Birmingham to form friendships and encourage one another to authentically live out of their faith in their places of work.

Discipleship groups for women kickstarted in spring 2025, offering opportunities for small groups of women to meet together regularly to encourage and pray for one another, and to build supportive communities. We currently have two groups meeting, each with space for new members.

  • MONDAY LUNCHTIME GROUP: This group meets every two weeks on a Monday Lunchtime at Pret A Manger on Newhall Street, taking time to share and discuss the Bible Verse for the Day, and to pray for one another.
  • TUESDAY LUNCHTIME GROUP: This group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at Java Coffee on Colmore Row. Together they are working through a podcast series and discussing it together.

Contact us to get connected to one of these groups or we would be delighted to support you if you wish to start your own! Some larger events are also held throughout the year in various venues across the city centre, and take on a variety of forms from social meetups to workshops and seminar-style sessions.
