Description
Building good, healthy relationships with our colleagues and those we encounter through work is vital but when we find ourselves involved in conflict at work – either because an argument flares up around us or because we feel compelled to challenge something – how can we engage creatively?
Nic Bayley believes that it is possible to handle conflict it in such a way that we don’t fuel toxicity, we maintain clarity about the way forward and we ensure that our own wellbeing, and the wellbeing of those around, us is maintained – and she’ll explore this at our combined City Women / City Men event.
Nic Bayley is a Minister at Newsong Community Church in Bromsgrove. Previously, she was head of department in a Birmingham high school, and worked with Youth For Christ in their National Ministries team. Nic is now responsible for a diverse church congregation, living and working in Bromsgrove with her husband, their two children and their dog, Alfie. Her life includes times of great joy – and also conflict management and resolution on a daily basis.
This event will be accessible to Christians of all denominations and to people of all faiths and none.
It’s free to attend – but please bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee and water will be provided.
