MEDITATION IN THE CHRISTIAN TRADITION WEEKLY PRACTICE SESSIONS
Date and Time
Sat 12 Dec
- December 12, 2020
8:30 am - 9:00 am
Meditation in the Christian tradition is a very ancient and very simple way of prayer.
It is a way of being fully present to the gift of our life, each other and God.
It’s about establishing peace in ourselves so we can be places of peace in the world.
Each session will involve a short talk, a period of silent meditation practice and an opportunity questions and conversation.
The sessions will be guided by Chris Whittington.
Chris was introduced to meditation in the Christian tradition at 19 when living at the Benedictine monastery of Prinknash Abbey in the Cotswolds. He has been COO of WCCM (the World Community for Christian Meditation), gives regular talks and leads retreats across the UK and is a spiritual director. Chris is also a Partner and Head of Education Law at Anthony Collins Solicitors
