“A Cry for a Broken City”
Isaiah 58 says, “The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Nehemiah 1:6 says, ”Let your ears be attentive to and your eyes open to the prayer your servant is praying before you night and day.”
ChaplaincyPlus are partnering with Time4Brum, the Bishops of Birmingham and Aston, and the Diocese of Birmingham to host a series of three prayer breakfasts in 2026 ahead of the full council elections in May of this year.
We are inviting leaders in all contexts (Church, Business, Workplace, Charity etc.) to unite in prayer for our city. Across three Thursday mornings in February, March and April we will pray and intercede together for the city of Birmingham.
Sausage and bacon sandwiches and warm drinks will be provided so please let us know if you have any allergies.
This is a free event, however contributions towards the on-going work of ChaplaincyPlus and Time4Brum are welcome. Any donations received will be split equally between ChaplaincyPlus and Time4Brum. For more information and to be kept up to date with Time4Brum, please visit their website.
