Annual Financial Review

ChaplaincyPlus has had a good year financially, posting a surplus for the year of £1000 after the final Science and Faith costs of £8000 (net) funded from reserves were brought forward. Unrestricted General funds grew by £9000 year on year which puts us in a great place financially heading into the new financial year.

ChaplaincyPlus ceased operating The Birmingham Wellbeing Alliance (BWA) during the financial year. All costs associated with the BWA in the year were covered by income generated by the alliance in the same financial year.

We are thankful to the generous individuals, churches and trusts who partnered with us financially during the year, and we are so blessed to have 54 regular individual financial partners who accounted for 39% of our income for the year (48% with Gift Aid). As we enter into this new season for ChaplaincyPlus, we have ambitious plans to grow our reach across the city, increasing our one-to-ones, Network Groups, and helping more Christians in the workplace ‘live life to the full’. To help us do so, would you consider partnering with us regularly or committing to an increase in your regular gift?
